For many, playing in a band is a dream. This is not practical for some with disabilities as a lot of instruments, specifically brass, require a user to hold a heavy instrument. This leaves playing a brass instrument inaccessible for many. To address this issue, MERU has designed adapters to allow multiple instruments to be attached to a cymbal stand.
These stands allow anyone to play music without needing to hold the instrument. This allows children who don't yet have the strength to play a big instrument to learn how to play. The MERU Instrument Stand makes the creation of music from heavy, cumbersome instruments accessible to those with disabilities and offers those in the general public an easier way to play these instruments.
